President & Chief Executive Officer of JAZZ.FM91 since July of 2004, Ross Porter is acknowledged internationally when Canada's leading jazz broadcaster.
Maybe right-known to jazz aficionados for his drawn-out & distinguished career as a broadcaster & producer by using a American Broadcasting Corporation's national radio network for numbers of years, Porter other recently developed, launched, & spearheaded programming for Canada's national jazz channel COOL-TV, too managing every day-to-day operations at CanWest's Twenty-four-hour jazz station COOL-FM & COOL Recordings.
in top preceding years, he amassed considerable certification as a producer for widely-lauded network radio docudrama on jazz greats including Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, & numbers of others. He too produced critically-acclaimed televisiin infotainment on music legends Oscar Peterson, Joni Mitchell, Quincy Jones, George Harrison, Brian Wilson, & Diana Krall.
